This video addresses one of the most common problems I see with backstroke- overextending your arms on your entry. This can do lots of shoulder damage when it is done repeatedly, and it is best to re-teach yourself to have your hands enter the water at about a shoulders width apart.

I thought this was an interesting perspective on the intricacies of the butterfly stroke- something I myself have not mastered! Keep your hands “soft” on your entries into the water, this allows more of your body (other than your arms) to be incorporated into your stroke.

This is a great video on head position for breaststroke. This is something that is really easy to get lazy with. You want to look forward to see how far away the wall is, but that creates a lot of drag. You need to keep your head down to optimize each stroke.
